My Xorg.0.log file is here, I have tried switching my graphics driver from NVIDIA to nouveau, in the hope of an inexplicable miracle, then rebooted (after adding nouveau to the modules listed in /etc/nf and regenerating the kernel image, which made no difference) but it made no difference. This surprises me especially seeing how no updates related to NVIDIA, my kernel, mesa, etc. I am saying this in case someone is going to tell me to do my homework, or something along those lines, as I believe I have done it.įor some reason that escapes me, after having no issues with Xorg previously (I was able to run it without issue for about a fortnight on this same laptop) after I rebooted the last time it simply will not run. I also turned up several Arch Wiki articles which I read and tried to implement, which also didn't work. I Googled this question before I asked it and turned up this result but it was of no help to me.
